The recommendations in this Policy Action Area can be used to help increase people who have health insurance and make medical care more affordable by promoting education and employment initiatives related to obtaining and accessing health insurance and care.
Everybody should have access to medical care when they need it and to keep their bodies healthy with regular check-ups. Research indicates that health insurance dramatically improves health outcomes by allowing people to access necessary care.
